A 4-alarm grass fire began on an open piece of land near Langdon Dr. and Bonnie View Rd. late this afternoon. The fire consumed about 40 to 45 acres of land. Firefighter’s kept the blaze under control and prevented any type of evacuation to neighboring businesses or residences. No injuries occurred during this fire. Firefighters will continue to overhaul throughout the evening. The cause of this fire has not been determined.
