Residential fire in New York City

Department: FDNY - [New York, New York]

Today at 1608 HRS at 153-14 88th Avenue, members of Engine Company 298, Engine Company 303, and Squad 270 rescued 3 civilians from a fire in a residential home. The members of Engine Company 298 were drilling in their quarters when they smelled smoke. The members investigated the odor and found the fire 1 block away. They quickly located 1 civilian on the roof, 1 civilian unconscious in the attic, and a third civilian unconscious in the first floor bathroom. All 3 victims were removed to Mary Imaculate Hospital and are in serious condition.
