Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a one-alarm fire at the Marina Del Rey Apartment Complex late this afternoon. Upon primary search, firefighters found two children. The children were both females, ages two and four. They were rescued from a back bedroom and immediately transported to Children's Medical Center. Both girls are in serious condition and are in the ICU at Children's Medical Center. Fire Investigators spoke with the father of the girls. The father stated that he was out working in a nearby apartment complex and that the mother had gone to the store. The children were at home alone at the time of the fire. The cause of this fire is under investigation.
