N.Y. Building Fire Injures 3 Firefighters

On March 4, the Lindenhurst (N.Y.) Fire Department responded to a building fire on West Hoffman Avenue and South 1st Street. North Lindenhurst, Copiague and West Babylon provided mutual aid. The fire burned through a three-story building with heavy-smoke conditions. Reports indicate that three firemen were injured.
